Our Councilmember, Janeese Lewis George, and her Chief of Staff, Lenace Edwards, toured the field on 1/04/2022 in preparation for the Maret Forum Zoom meeting, which she hosted on 1/06/2022.
Councilmember Lewis George stopped by "the boardwalk" at 5860 Nebraska Avenue to take in the slope of the field and see firsthand the scale of the site relative to the proposed development.
During the forum, Cm Lewis George created a list of questions for Maret to answer, which will certainly help Friends of the Field.
We thank her staff for facilitating this visit, as well as our ongoing dialogues with our City Council representatives
